Route
Route: 12Kms - Estimated time: 2 hours
The route of La Travesía de Afurgad begins at the new bus parking area, located at the entrance to the town of Firgas. First it makes a short stop at the restaurant El Rincón de Marcos for the first tasting. From here it continues onwards to La Tienda de María Teresa, an oil and vinegar shop with more than 60 years of history. It crosses the Barranco de las Madres on a route with impressive views and histories that we will hear through the audio guide. Once we have arrived, passing next to the Aguas de Firgas factory, we will stop for another tasting and we will visit the shop.

From María Teresa's shop we will continue the route to Fontana Rosa Park. It is located next to Firgas School where, in addition to enjoying a charming park, we will taste banana nectar with gofio from the Buen Lugar mill.
Continuing on our train journey we will make our last visit, to the Fabrica Deleite Canario, in the very center of the town. We will be tasting some of its products with locally sourced ingredients. Back aboard our Aguas de Firgas train, we will return to the starting point. We will cross the rest of the town going up through Cuatro Esquinas and Calle el Calvario to the GC-30 until our final stop.
Tastings
The tastings may vary throughout the year depending on seasonal, fresh produce although they will always be products made in the municipality of Firgas. We will feature products such as soft watercress cheese from Quesería Pedrín, watercress jam, juices and nectars from Deleite Canario, Gofio from Buen Lugar, various mojo sauces and much more.
