🚂 Route of La Travesía de Afurgad
A gastro-tourism route with tastings and stops at emblematic places in Firgas.

A section with spectacular views and an audio guide about the history of water in Firgas.
We will visit an old water decanter, an element that helps us understand the historical importance of water in this ravine.
A peaceful area next to the school where an additional tasting takes place.
Arrival at the tourist coach parking area, completing the 12 km experience.

The Afurgad Journey begins at the new tourist bus parking area, located at the entrance to the historic centre of Firgas. During the route, we will visit the artisan factory Deleite Canario and El Rincón de Marcos, where you will enjoy tastings of local products.
Afterwards, the train travels through the Barranco de las Madres, a route full of landscapes, history and unique views that you will discover through the audio guides. The experience includes a stop next to an old water decanter and finishes at Fontana Rosa Park.
Tastings
The tastings may vary throughout the year depending on needs and the season, although they will always feature products made in the municipality of Firgas. There will be products such as fresh watercress cheese from Quesería Pedrín, watercress jam, juices and nectars from Deleite Canario, Gofio de Buenlugar, mojos and many more.
Starting Point
First, you must visit our office at Avenida de la Constitución No. 11 to have your wristbands fitted, up to 10 minutes before the mini-train departs.
From there, we will direct you to the train stop, which is about 50 meters away, located in the tourist bus parking area.
